Profile Lake is a 13-acre (53,000 m 2) body of water, located at the foot of Cannon Mountain, in Franconia Notch, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The lake was given its name because the reflection of the famous rock formation, Old Man of the Mountain, could be seen, before it collapsed in 2003.
The lake is designated for fly fishing only. Every direction you look on Profile Lake has an amazing view, which makes the fishing worth it, even if you don’t catch fish!
